🌎 Another Snowy Owl unit ready to head north. This SO-207-TW aircraft deicing unit is now prepared for delivery to its next destination. For remote northern operations, deliveries are often scheduled early in the season to allow sufficient time for transportation logistics, including long-distance marine shipping and coordination to isolated regions. From Canada to remote operations around the world, Cam-Concept is proud to see Snowy Owl deicing units operating in some of the most demanding environments on the planet. This unique self-propelled aircraft de-icer is designed for single-operator use, combining efficiency, safety, and reliability. With its high-capacity glycol tanks, extended reach boom, and precise spray control, it’s built to perform in the toughest winter conditions.
🚀 Today, the Snowy Owl line is expanding even further. Our next milestone is Central Asia, with the first delivery to Uzbekistan scheduled in just a few weeks.
A true logistical challenge, moving state-of-the-art equipment all the way from Québec to Uzbekistan — and another step in our global journey.

At Snowy Owl, we don’t just build de-icers — we design solutions for real-world challenges. In response to the specific needs of a client serving remote communities, we developed the SO-15-ST Stationary De-icing Module.
Many northern airstrips are inaccessible by road and rely on limited or improvised equipment to ensure safe winter operations. The SO-15-ST offers a professional, reliable alternative — and it’s sized specifically to be airlifted by a Dash 8, one of the most common aircraft in Northern Canada.
This compact, self-contained station is built to go where the road doesn’t.

For several years now, we’ve seen a competitor uses our innovations – particularly our SO-2512-SP single-operator de-icing vehicle – to attract customers under false pretenses.

They present our model as if it was their only to later steer the customer toward something else entirely.

🟠 But here’s the real question:

What interest does a competitor have in pretending to manufacture a product they don’t even offer?

The answer is simple: to mislead, confuse, and block access to real innovation.

Unfortunately, this tactic slows down the work of professionals who are looking for reliable, proven solutions.

The screenshot below, taken from the public Aero-Expo platform, shows our Snowy Owl models displayed next to renamed that do not come from us.

These misleading practices create confusion and undermine the trust in our industry.

🎥 A look back to see how far we’ve come.

Just over two years ago, TVA aired a feature on our aircraft deicing systems — a unique technology developed by Snowy Owl, a division of Cam-Concept.

I ended the interview by mentioning the growing international interest we were receiving.
Today, that vision has become reality: our systems are now exported around the world, used in critical environments to ensure safety and performance, even in the harshest winter conditions. ❄️✈️

Since that report, Cam-Concept has developed three new models, including two towable versions, offering even more flexibility and accessibility for ground operations.
