A Message From Discount Tire & Automotive

We want to address a recent post circulating online regarding our business.

First and foremost, we would like to sincerely apologize to any customers who may feel concerned after reading these allegations. Anyone who truly knows our team, our family, and our business knows that racism, discrimination, or hate of any kind has absolutely no place at Discount Tire & Automotive.

We are proud to have a diverse team and customer base, and we treat every person who walks through our doors with respect. Our business has always been built on community, honesty, and helping people — and we will continue to stand by those values.

Regarding this situation specifically, the statements being made online are simply not accurate. We offered this customer multiple solutions and opportunities to resolve the matter professionally, all of which were refused. Despite the circumstances, we still attempted to work toward a resolution because we genuinely care about our customers and our reputation in this community.

Our team works extremely hard every single day to go above and beyond for the people who support us. We are incredibly grateful for the thousands of loyal customers who have trusted us over the years, and for the overwhelming support we have received today.

There is a reason we have been voted the best tire shop in the city (twice!)— and it’s because we stand behind our work, we care about our customers, and we always strive to do the right thing.
