Sharon Andruchow I have worked for Ann’s still am working for an East Indian company. Not only myself but many other drivers including East Indian drivers have witnessed many wrecks, and driving behaviours of mostly new Canadian arrivals, who wrecklessly pass on double solid lines, curves, and where road and weather conditions are extremely dangerous. I too have many coleuges East Indian included who are good hard working people, but just look at who is involved in most of these collisions and see my reluctant and frustrated comments.
I have encountered incidents where I try to pass a slow driver and they speed up and prevent you from overtaking them, they try to get you into trouble and even have the odasity, to phone my company and accuse me of driving dangerously. So as I have posted earlier. Don’t judge a trucker till you’ve spent a year or more in a truck.
I have 47 years more than 5,500,000 miles of wittinessing the good and bad
I have never hurt anyone in all of my career and would like to keep it that way toward me.
I don’t only drive nice highways, been on Ice roads in Yukon, North West Territories, Nunavut , Oil field, Logging, Flat deck, tankers, Vans, Heavy haul, oversized loads, sand and gravel, etc. etc. etc.
I could go on but am getting to wound up just thinking of what I’ve seen. Sorry to offend you. Not all East Indians or any other Nationalities are in the same basket. I hope you can appreciate my concern of making a safe living for my family who by the way I only spend about 80 days a year with.
