This is not how one should overhaul a differential! Surprising discovery when we were just suppose to swap the L*D, but turned out someone messed up the previous final drive swap! Luckily there was no damage or failure caused, and we are able to remedy the issue properly!

Mk7 GTI Winter maintenance and upgrade. What started as a clutch + flywheel, water pump + t-stat, billet rear-main seal (housing) replacement, then combined with Fluidamper, some Racing Line engine mounts, front and rear rigid collars, and all the related refreshments along the way. The painstaking task of silicone sealant removal from the 2022+ BRZ/GR86 oil pick-up strainer. We also go around the nearby area that we can reach to removal some of the excessive beads that are deemed questionable. Cappuccino got a rare Garage John bumper exit exhaust and we decided to mount the reverse lights vertically instead, which turned out to be quite clean actually. While we were at it, might as well swap out the old and crunchy brass bullet terminals to a Deutsch 2-pin for the reverse light connection. 👌🏻
