A bird’s-eye view of K&D! 🛩️

A friend of mine flew over the shop the other day and snapped this great picture. I thought it was a perfect opportunity to give our community a look at the lay of the land here at K&D Truck Parts & Service.

The blue outline isn’t quite perfect, but you get the idea!

With roughly 10 acres of yard space, our truck and trailer repair shops, parts warehouse, and plenty of room for trucks, trailers, and equipment, there’s a lot going on behind the scenes to keep our customers moving.

2026 marks 50 years of K&D serving the trucking industry, and we’re proud of what we’ve built right here in Saskatchewan.

Well, well, well… how the tables have turned. 🤣🔧

Usually when Ryan and the Snap-on truck show up at K&D, we’re the ones with the problem — mostly involving our wallets.

Today, the hunter became the hunted.

Ryan trusted us with his own truck for a little mechanical attention, and of course there was no way we were letting that happen without giving him a hard time.

Investing in our people means better service for our customers.

Last week, we sent two of our technicians for specialized Schmitz Cargobull re**er training.

A big thank you to Trailer for making the training possible and helping us continue to build our capabilities.

At K&D, we believe the best way to grow what we can offer our customers is to invest in the people doing the work. More training means better diagnostics, better repairs and another way we can help keep our customers moving.

This is another step in expanding our refrigerated trailer service capabilities at K&D.

Better trained people. More capability. Better service.

We’ll have approximately 32,000 sq. ft. of commercial truck yard space available October 1 on Fleet Street North.

It’s set up for real fleet operations — gated access, camera surveillance, electrical plug-ins, snow clearing and access to a heated fleet-support building.

The location provides quick access to Highway 46 and Regina’s industrial north end.

I’m putting this out to my trucking, construction and industrial contacts.

We’ll have a portion of our Fleet Street property available for lease beginning October 1. It’s approximately 32,039 sq. ft. and would suit a carrier, contractor or service company looking for more than just an open patch of gravel.

The yard is gated and monitored, with electrical plug-ins, concrete trailer pads, snow clearing, washroom access and a 12' × 40' heated steel building. The layout also allows trucks and Super B units to flow through with less backing.

The location is probably its biggest advantage. It’s beside the Co-op Refinery Complex and City landfill, just off Highway 46 and on Regina’s over-dimensional move network.

We’re asking $4,750 per month plus GST.

Unfortunately, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the K&D Hot Dog Eating Contest.

Due to lower-than-expected interest, we don’t feel we could put on the fun and exciting event we had envisioned.

A sincere thank you to everyone who shared the event, considered participating, or supported the fundraiser. We truly appreciate your support.

Although the contest won’t be moving forward, K&D Truck Parts & Service will still be making a cash donation to CADS (Canadian Adaptive Snowsports) to support the incredible work they do.

Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to bringing you another community event in the future.
