29th ANNUAL CHARITY CHECKSTOP
Date: December 6th, 2025
Between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Innisfail, Alta. - It's that time of year again. The Christmas season is soon approaching and the Innisfail RCMP are in the process of setting up this year's Charity Checkstop. Due to the generosity of the community, the Charity Checkstop has proven to be super successful every year. Last year the Charity Checkstop raised a total of $16,505.64 which was donated to local charities. Let's continue to build on this success.

The location of this year's Charity Checkstop will be the same as previous years so you can't miss it. RCMP members, some volunteers, as well as a lot of flashing red and blue lights will be set up on 50th Street between 48th and 49th Avenue. Donations will be accepted from traffic that is both eastbound and westbound. Vehicles not wishing to donate may proceed through without any difficulty. Santa and Safety Bear are also excited to meet everyone again this year.

The Charity Checkstop will once again be accepting new clothing, food, new toys, and cash. Every little bit counts. The charitable organizations this year will be the Innisfail Food Bank, Innisfail Christmas Bureau and the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre.

In this season of giving and celebrating let's provide as much help as we can to those less fortunate. Help donate and make this Christmas season a great one for everyone.

Should you have any questions about the Charity Checkstop do not hesitate to contact the Innisfail RCMP or Cst. Nelson at (403) 227-3342. Merry Christmas and we look forward to seeing you all soon.

***We look forward to plenty of media coverage as in the past your participation has proven to enhance and heighten a significant part of Christmas - THE SPIRIT OF GIVING.***
