Looking to hire an experienced equipment mechanic.

We have an open service truck that needs a full time guy to keep the Lethbridge area rolling. We work on all sorts of equipment from excavators, dozers to packers and scrapers. We need a guy that is self sufficient and able to think outside the box while working in a safe manner.

The service truck available is the one in picture above.

We pay $45-$65/hr with Christmas bonus’s.
we pay for benefits, boots, coveralls.

Got a variety of jobs going on this week. A skid steer with worn out wheel bearings, wood chipper with engine issues, 6.0 power stroke with engine issues, boat service, remove snow wing and install a ripper on cat grader. Lots of fun 👍

Busy week at baskel mechanical! Head gaskets on a 6.0, clean up some oil leaks on 77 f350, transmission work on kenworth and head studs on 6.7 cummins. Always stuff to do.

Hooked up a customer with a heavy hauler transmission, now, no more slipping in high gears and is able to tow what ever he wants.

Today we had a 2130 JD tractor come in. It was putting oil in the coolant. We pressure tested the oil cooler which tested good. Next step was to remove head to check for gasket failure and/or cracked head. Both turned out to be good. Next spot would be the liner o rings. Usually coolant would go in the oil because there's no pressurized oil around the liners but in the early stage of deteriorating o rings oil can slip past before coolant can as it is a smaller molecule. After dissembling we found the cause.
