This is my 1955 Dodge C3b 108 pickup with 65 Barracuda running gear that I have had for 46 years. Mild custom done to 60's style. Lots of NOS parts. Note optional headlight rings. Bed is almost done and ready to install. Fenders and running boards ready. Have original chrome front and back bumpers. Sweet ride.

I have a 1965 Barracuda drivetrain in my 1955 Dodge pickup including the 273 and 904 trans. The speedo cable was leaking through the cable. After removing it from the trans I replaced the o-ring with 1 from my shelf but was unable to find the small seal that prevents fluid from entering the cable. I got 1 for 1966 and up trans but it is too large. Then I went to bearing shop with no luck. On a whim I went to plumbing parts shop and came away with a perfect match. It is Master Plumber part for a Delta faucet. I installed this seal on a new speedometer cable I found in my parts warehouse and no more leaks. Try it.
On another note I needed a shifter cable for the console shifter but could not find it anywhere. I called around to some buddies and found 1 for 1961 chrysler. It is identical except for the installation eye ring at the shifter. It needs to be made slightly larger to go over the peg on the shifter.

THE FENDERS, DOORS AND RUNNING BOARDS ARE IN TERRIFIC SHAPE. THIS IS ONE YOU MUST SEE. THE WINDSHIELD IS MISSING BUT ALL OTHER GLASS IS IN GOOD CONDITION. THE SIDE VENT WINDOWS HAVE GOOD LOCKS AND OPEN EASILY. THE TRUCK HAS AN ORIGINAL 313 CU IN V8 ENGINE WHICH IS NOT OPERATIONAL. THE ORIGINAL RADIATOR IS THERE. TRUCK HAS THE CUSTOM CAB WITH GOOD FLOORS AND ALL INSTRUMENTS. WE HAVE THE HEADLIGHTS WITH DOORS AND THE PARKING LIGHTS. WE ALSO HAVE A FRONT BUMPER. THE GRILL CHROME IS MISSING.
