OpenRoad Toyota Port Moody became only the 2nd member of OpenRoad Auto Group in 1982, when it was still known as its former identity, Barnet Toyota.

Over the next two decades, the store would grow to become one of the most reputable Toyota dealers in BC. As customers continued to show their support, Barnet Toyota underwent an expansion and re-launched as OpenRoad Toyota Port Moody in its new facilities on St. Johns Street, with an impressive 4-storey vehicle display tower outside the entrance.
