A little about us - Slater’s Lake Escape 🩵
Meet Jaiden - I’m a Cancer through and through, I swear I was either a pirate or a fish in my past life because if there’s a beach nearby, you’ll probably have to drag me away. The water completely feeds my soul.
When I’m not at the cottage, I’m a full-time Esthetician. Outside of work you’ll usually find me spending time with my partner and our fur baby Malachite.
I love making playlists for long drives, planning themed family get-togethers, and wandering the shoreline looking for seashells, sea glass, and interesting rocks. I could spend hours doing it, and they usually end up becoming ignored crafts that I say I’ll get to during winter.
My mom Dawn, is a Capricorn who’s the perfect mix of tough love and a big heart.
She grew up spending summers at her Nana’s home, which eventually became the family’s cottage. It was where she spent countless summers with her cousins, making the kinds of memories that stick with you forever.
Coming back to Sherkston gives her that same feeling all over again. It’s familiar, comforting, and full of little moments that remind her why summers were always her favourite. Now she gets to experience that all over again with our family—and with her tiny sidekick Nashville, her Chihuahua, who thinks every trip is the adventure of a lifetime.
