Good Morning Everyone!
We hope you have all had a great winter.

As spring rolls around we wanted to let you all know of some changes we have made for this coming season!
Firstly we will be adding Thursday A.m & P.m to our schedule which will allow more trips throuout the months of July and August.
We will continue our regular schedule:(Fri,Sat,Sun)
With unexpected weather conditions, we had more than usual cancelations last season which resulted in many of you not getting your trip in. We hope the addition for Thursdays will allow more of you to get on the water and enjoy the experience!
We are also excited to announce the return of Adam Schram !
Schrammy is a generational fisherman who has worked the deck on the Maiden in the past and provides excellet customer service and knowledge of Lake Erie. Adam will be on Standby with the crew to ensure we always have a first mate.
With that being said, we have more exciting news to come…

In the meantime- Everyone is welcome to start inquiring about bookings for this season! Feel free to send us a message and get your dates locked in as its gonna be a full summer at Big Otter Marina !

We at Erie Gold are deeply saddened, disappointed and disgusted to hear of the loss of a true leader and legend, Charlie Kirk.

Charlie was a Godsend to this troubled world we live in and we do not take his silencing lightly. We cannot fathom that anyone in their right mind would celebrate the ex*****on of another human being - and why? Because of a difference of opinion? What a horrifying mentality.

Charlie’s goal was to encourage people to think freely and debate openly, without hate and without violence. In his own words: “When the talking stops, the violence starts”.

We should all strive to be more like Charlie.

Rest in Peace.

The crew at Erie Gold Sportfishing would like to pay our respects and send our deepest condolence’s to the family and friends of Margaret Braun.

Margaret was an avid outdoorswoman and she loved to fish - she was supposed to join us on the boat this past Saturday morning, but an unexpected tragedy took her from us. Her crew still showed up before the sun was fully up to fish in her honour & Margaret helped us boat 36 walleye in an hour and a half - check out that big boy too 🤩 (third photo). She even brought the sun out from behind the clouds to let us know she was fishin’ from Heaven 🌤️

A trip will take place annually on July 26 in her memory. Her husband said “They’ll be no fish left once our huge crew is done.” And after what we saw on Saturday, we don’t doubt that one bit!

Rest easy, Margaret. You are clearly so very loved. ❤️
