Another adventure come and gone by the Team. We are always looking for positive, ambassadors of the sport to join us in upcoming riding and/or racing, and are currently putting in a 2018 jersey order. Nimby of Fun!!!
In the sea of bikes and fun, surrounded by mountains.........a few of the Healthy Habits/Shockdoc Team went out to try the famous Nimby50 challenge. It featured flat tires and wipeouts, yet tons of laughs, amazing food & trails, and endless smiles:) Can't wait until the next event!!! Way to go guys!!!! Hello!!!!
With the longer days upon us......lets try and get things underway and rolling! If you know of anyone that would love to join us on either of these events, please invite them! Always the more the merrier.....however you need to be a member of PACC(Port Alberni Cycling Club) which is only $10 for the year and can be purchased at Healthy Habits. If you know of sponsors wishing to do a Twoonie and get the advertising........please let us know, as we are always in need of more people to put these rides on:)

So, Monday May 1st- Shockdoc.ca Twoonie ride which will be sponsored by your own suspension customization shop- Shockdoc:) Yay. We will be meeting at 5:30 at 2650 2nd Ave. And please be sure to have your club memberships before hand. The ride will be 45min -60 min and will involve very easy trail, some climbing, then some descending (fir baby) as well as 5 min of road to get to the trails. This is a ride for all riders in mind and kids. Yes, there will be burgers by donation that go towards the club, and yes, there will be fun:)

2018 Rockshox Lyric!!!
This big hitter gets a new Boost-only chassis so loads of tyre clearance (up to a 2.8in with the 27.5in fork), new DebonAir spring (albeit tuned differently to Pike) and Charger 2 damper. It’ll also be offered with a remote option (RCT Remote and RC Remote) and both the 27.5in and 29in options have a maximum travel of 180mm travel
