Hello Ponoka and the surrounding area!

This post comes with a bittersweet message for all of our amazing customers. We have had the privilege of serving our community and surrounding customers for the last almost 5 years and it has been an absolutely amazing experience. The people we have had the chance to meet and build relationships with have been nothing short of wonderful.

It is with much appreciation that we announce that Tuesday, August 15th will be our last day running as Leavitt Oil and L**e. We have a new adventure on the horizon and we are excited and a little sad to move forward but we want to offer our greatest and sincerest gratitude to every single person who rolled through our doors.

Since day one we had received nothing but appreciation for the work we have done and through some of the hardships that we have all gone through it is because of you all that we were able to keep our doors open. Your loyalty in keeping your trust in us has filled us with pride in what we do and has been the reason we always came back.

We are very excited to hand over our customers and services to another amazing and customer service-driven business and we look forward to seeing them grow in our community. Although big changes come and go, we can promise that you and your vehicles will be taken care of with the utmost compassion and understanding. We look forward to seeing you all in town, here and there, and don't be shy to say hi!

But for now, this is a farewell but we can't wait to see what is around the corner for us! Thank you for supporting local!

Check your tire pressure: With rising temperatures, the pressure of your tires needs to be adjusted. In the cold temperatures of winter, the air inside your tires compresses. Come summertime they will likely be overinflated.

You can easily check the air inside your tires with a pressure gauge. Consult your car's manual or the inside rim of the tires to find the correct pressure. And don't forget to check your spare tire while you're at it. There's no point in having a spare if it's flat! If you are not sure how to properly check your tires, stop by our shop for a tire check before you hit the road!

Check your belts and hoses. Cold temperatures can harden and/or damage rubber, so it’s important to check your belts and hoses for damage. Check your hoses for hardening, softening, leaking, cracks, blistering, or other visual damage, and check your belts for looseness, cracks, frays, or glazing. If you have to replace one of your belts, you may also have to replace the tensioner and pulleys to keep the new belt from slipping.
