So many Bolete mushrooms (yellow, brown, white Suillus placidus and red Suillus spraguei and some being consumed by other fungi Hypomyces(!)), and a new to me Amanita elongata, or Peck's Yellow Dust Amanita!

Join our short retreat Oct 23- 25th for mushroom foraging, identification, growing (innoculating logs and making bulk spawn bags), preservation (drying, pickling, salts, tinctures) and preparation for eating and use as medicinal mushrooms. So much fun!

We are pleased to announce fall/winter events.

We have hosted many "Healthy Home" retreats in the past and it has always been very rewarding and informative for participants, so we are doing it again! We will have some amazing guest facilitators!

Other themes such as the "Mushroom Event" and "Making Things" we have been testing the last few years, so we are excited to be able to offer them as weekend retreats this year. Local guides and experts will be leading segments of the weekend.

As always our aim is to improve human health by looking at our surroundings. In the spring "Wellness from the Land" brings you just that!

Interested in mushroom cultivation?

Join us at Cranberry Camp for a workshop Sat May 2 10am - 3pm to inoculate your own Shiitake log(s). Lunch provided and maybe a hike (and forage?). Bring a recently cut 3' to 4' log of maple or oak (4"-7" diameter) if possible. Wear clothes you can dirty and bring gloves, goggles/glasses. We will have some available. $20 by etransfer.
