🔬 Wait! Do you really need to wash your car before bringing it to the shop? We just wrapped up a premium carbon window tint on this big Ram 1500, and as you can see from the video, this truck came in straight from the dirt roads!

It brings up a question we get asked all the time here in the shop: "Should I get a car wash before my tint appointment?"

Here is the honest truth from the pros: You don't need to wash the outside of your car, but it definitely helps us out! Here is why:
Window tint is applied strictly to the inside of your glass, so a little mud on your doors won’t stop us from doing our job. However, standard industry best practices mean creating a completely dust-free environment inside our bay. Any heavy dirt, static dust, or loose mud on the outside of the vehicle can easily transfer or catch the air when we are prepping the film.

Don't worry if you don't have time to hit the car wash ahead of time, though. At The Tint Shop Inc., we perform a deep, surgical clean on the glass and the surrounding areas before a single piece of film touches your vehicle to guarantee a flawless, bubble-free finish.
