More and more frequently, I am asked to remove the carburetor for local-ish clients wanting a rebuild. That's time, effort, use of tools, and usually a mid-distance drive.

I have implemented a flat rate fee for remove-replace services of $75 plus $0.50 per kilometer travel charge on distances above 5kms.

For "tuneup at your site" services, the fee is $75 per hour, minimum charge one full hour to attend, then billed in 30 minutes increments.

Hand written receipts, payment on site. All fees bear PST of 7% in BC. Sorry, no travel further than 70kms.
