🚨 Rumor has it we’re closing… Let’s clear that up. 🚨

We are NOT closing.

South Side Small Engine Repair & Rentals is still here and still serving our customers. We’ve simply restructured how we operate to focus on providing the quality service we’re known for.

✅ We are still performing repairs.
✅ We are still an Authorized Warranty Repair Centre for many major brands.
✅ We still have a full line of parts in stock.

Due to the ongoing shortage of qualified staff, we can’t always be at the shop during regular business hours. We are often the ones handling repairs, service calls, picking up parts, and taking care of other business-related responsibilities. If you’d like to stop by, you’re always welcome, but calling ahead is the best way to make sure someone is at the shop.

We also kindly ask that if the shop is closed, please respect our family’s personal time and do not knock on our house door. If you need us, simply give us a call and we’ll be happy to help.

As a small business, the fees associated with credit card transactions have become too costly for us to absorb.

IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM SOUTH SIDE SMALL ENGINE REPAIR

After careful consideration, and due to the ongoing difficulty finding reliable skilled help, as well as in an effort to improve work/life balance, South Side Small Engine Repair will be slowing down operations and reducing the amount of repair work we take on moving forward.

Our main focus will be:
• Authorized warranty repairs
• Existing customers
• Seasonal maintenance & servicing

Please note:
• We will NO longer be servicing 2-stroke equipment
• Due to limited help, wait times and turnaround times may be longer than usual
• There will no longer be regular shop hours
• Customers are strongly encouraged to call ahead before stopping by or dropping equipment off, as we may be out of the shop doing pickups, deliveries, service calls, or other business-related work with no one available to man the shop

South Side Small Engine Repair is NOT closing — we are simply restructuring operations and slowing things down while continuing to provide quality service to our customers.
