How thin is too thin for your brake pads? 🔴

Your brakes wear a little every time you use them, and most people only notice once the sound, feel or stopping distance has already changed. New pads start around 12mm. By 3mm you're due. At 2mm, that's not a someday fix: it's a this-month one. Watch for squealing, grinding, pedal vibration or a soft pedal in the meantime.

That small coolant leak isn't a "next summer" problem. 💧

Cooler weather doesn't mean your cooling system stops mattering. Your engine still needs to hold the right operating temperature, and a small leak can turn into low coolant, overheating and more expensive engine problems. Some radiator cracks and metal damage can be repaired by welding or brazing, and we'll tell you honestly whether repair or replacement makes more sense.
