Thank you John for such a wonderful review. I added it as promised.

My wife and I were travelling from Ontario to New Westminster on Aug. 5 to see our son. On the way down the mountain into Osoyoos the brakes in our truck began to fail. I managed to get the truck stopped on a pull out 7 km. from Osoyoos before they completely failed.
We called CAA and they dispatched a flatbed truck to us. Griz, the driver delivered the truck to one garage and when we got there we found out that they were too busy to be able to help us out. They recommended we try calling Jones Boys Automotive who were very close by. They indicated that everyone in the area were quite busy and that we would probably face the same situation everywhere.
I called and Sam answered and listened to me as I explained our situation. She said that they too were quite booked but she would go back and explain my situation to the Rick and Adam on the off chance they could help out. When she came back on she told us that the boys said they would help us out and to bring the truck over as soon as we could.
Griz, re tied the truck and brought it over to them right away.
Not only was Sam pleasant and reassuring on the phone, she was even more so when we arrived. She made no promises in terms of being able to fix our problem but she indicated that Rick and Adam would do their very best to help us out. And that they did!
My wife and I left and spent time in town while they checked things out.
She called us several hours later to say that we were good to go . When we arrived the guys and Sam met us and explained what they had done. I think they were as happy to have been able to help us as we were that they did.
Not only did they fix the truck they also allowed me to load my motorcycle back into the truck bed on their property rather than have to leave to find an appropriate location. The price for the repair was more than fair - way less that I expected as a non regular customer and as someone who could have easily been over charged for many reasons.
What started out as what could have been a really bad experience in terms of an accident and a terrible garage experience turned into an opportunity to meet some wonderful people and maintain my belief
that there ARE some really nice people in the world.
If I lived in Osoyoos, I would definitely become a regular customer as well as tell my positive experience story at every opportunity.
When we left, my wife and I both forgot about the negative experience of having a breakdown and were able to focus on the positive experience of having met 3 wonderful people and on heading back on the road to be with our son.
THANK YOU TO ALL AT JONES AUTOMOTIVE AND REPAIR.
