Looks like our Osprey beat everyone to the best seat at the Marina ☀

Just a reminder that the office will be closed this Monday, August 3rd for the Civic Holiday.

We hope everyone has a great long weekend, gets out on the water, and enjoys some well earned time with family and friends.

If you've spotted these floating around the marina lately, you're probably not the only one wondering what they are! 👀

These are the shed skins of mayflies (also known as shadflies). The good news? Because they are highly sensitive to pollution, their presence is one of nature’s best indicators of clean, healthy, and highly oxygenated water!

📢 Power Outage Notice

Due to the thunderstorm we experienced yesterday, the marina is currently experiencing a power outage. As a result, hydro, water, and our washrooms are unavailable at this time.

There is currently no estimated time for power to be restored.

If you have a boat at the marina, we recommend checking on your vessel if you are able to do so, especially if you have a refrigerator, freezer, battery charger, or any other equipment that relies on shore power.

We’ll post updates as soon as we receive more information.

Even our resident Osprey is taking the day off!

The office will be closed tomorrow for Canada Day. We hope everyone enjoys a safe, relaxing day with family and friends - whether you're on the water, at the cottage, or firing up the BBQ!

We'll see you back in the office Thursday, July 2nd from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

We are excited to welcome everyone back to the pool for another great season!

📢Just a quick reminder before you pack your swim bag:
- Please come by the office to sign out a pool key
- There is a $20 refundable cash deposit required per key

Looking for the perfect Friday night plans? Join the Orillia District Chamber of Commerce this Friday, May 29th at the ODAS Park Roller Rink for an incredible evening of delicious food, drinks, and live music!

Today, the only thing Mom is responsible for is picking the playlist and enjoying the view. The crew is officially on duty for all the heavy lifting, the docking, and the cooler-hauling.

📢 Trent-Severn Waterway Update - May 8th, 2026

Parks Canada has announced a staged opening for the 2026 navigation season starting this Friday, May 15th.

Most locks will be OPEN as of May 15th. However, the following remain CLOSED for now:
• Lock 42 – Couchiching
• Lock 43 – Swift Rapids
• Lock 44 – Big Chute Marine Railway
• Lock 45 – Port Severn
All lock grounds are open for land-based visits.

Water levels are still high due to heavy spring precipitation and snowpack, so boaters should use extra caution, watch for floating debris, and check conditions before heading out.
