Public notice. Sawatzky’s Auto Repair is closing the shop permanently effective February 28, 2026. Its bitter sweet as I feel lead to retire from mechanicing and take on a less physically demanding employment. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all my wonderful customers and my staff over the years who helped me get through the past 13 years and 15500 plus repair orders. I learned so much and met so many amazing people through this journey. Opening and running my own shop and all of what it entails has been a remarkable and rewarding experience and while I welcome a break from the daily grind I know I will miss it and remember the good times fondly.
Thank you 🙏 all for everything, God bless and hope to see you around Olds and at the car shows in the future. Cheers.

Sawatzkys Annual Show and Shine is off to a great start with a beautiful sunny day!

Come on down, we’re here from 9am-1pm and already have an amazing turn out with 40+ cars and counting!

We got Johnny from Just Right Lemonade who’s serving drinks all day here, and Corey from 104.5 The Goat Olds Rock is here with us too, providing coffee and doughnuts! We’re also taking food bank donations so if you have any non-perishables to donate bring them by!
