If you're caring for a loved one with dementia at home, these 5 bedroom safety tips could make a real difference to their safety and your peace of mind. 💙

🛏️ Lower the bed as much as possible - reduces fall injury risk significantly
🚶 Clear the path around the bed - especially the route to the bathroom at night
🔒 Use the right bed rails - full lor half length, and make sure they lower easily for caregivers
🕯️ Keep the room calm and familiar - consistent furniture positions and soft lighting
🧼 Think about the mattress too - waterproof and pressure-relieving for long-term care
