When our client saw this Range Rover Classic in our parking lot, she immediately asked if it was for sale. She wanted something special, so we gave it a full refresh and now it’s her daily driver.

In phase 1 of the project we focused on extensive mechanical upgrades and repairs.

Phase 2 focused on rust repair and structural restoration to the rear of the vehicle including completely replacing the rear floor pan, restoring the rear corner panels, and the tailgate.

This two-phase build transformed the high-mileage Range Rover Classic into a mechanically sound and structurally solid long wheelbase example, combining modern reliability with faithful preservation of its classic character.

We recently completed a full maintenance service and some key mechanical repairs on this Defender 90 for Squamish Search and Rescue and now it’s looking for a new home!

The McLean McCuaig Foundation and Blackcomb Helicopters have generously donated $75,000 in support of our team!

Following the sale of Blackcomb Helicopters in 2025, they wanted to give back to several community partners they have worked alongside over the years, and we are incredibly honoured to have been chosen as one of the recipients of this remarkable donation.

This support will make a meaningful impact on our team and our ability to continue serving the community.

The vehicle has been donated with the intention of either raffling or selling it to help raise additional funds for the team. Estimated to be worth approximately $100,000, this is an incredibly generous contribution that will directly support our operations, training, and equipment needs.

We are extremely grateful to the McLean McCuaig Foundation, Blackcomb Helicopters, and the McLean family for their generosity and continued support of search and rescue.

Defender Overlanding Essential: Grease Your U-Joints!!

On long multi-day overland trips, greasing the u-joints every 3,000–4,000 km is critical. Lifted suspensions and factory driveline angles already accelerate wear. Dust, mud, and water make it worse — leading to vibration, imbalance, or complete failure far from anywhere.

Treat u-joint greasing with the same priority as engine oil, air filters, and wheel nut torque. A quick grease gun session at camp keeps your Defender strong and reliable, mile after mile.

Pro Tip: Carry quality grease and a compact grease gun.
