We totally understand that to most people, pet hair can seem like “just a quick vacuum.” Unfortunately, that’s rarely the case in professional detailing.

Pet hair weaves itself deep into carpet fibres, seat fabric, floor mats, and tight crevices — especially short, sharp hairs that cling to upholstery. In many cases, standard vacuuming alone will not remove it. Specialized brushes, compressed air, rubber tools, and detailed hand work are often required to fully remove excessive hair.

Depending on the severity, pet hair removal can easily add 1–3+ extra hours to a detail appointment. That additional time affects scheduling, staffing, and the overall service process, which is why excessive pet hair is subject to an additional charge.
