So sad to hear of Vic’s retirement but nothing but wishes for him!

Curling Canada wishes Vic Rauter the very best in his future, with his retirement from TSN announced today. 🎙️

We all have mixed emotions — we’re sad that he won’t be around to “make the final” after this season, but we are happy for him as he moves into retirement after a brilliant, iconic career. He has been the voice of curling in Canada and around the world for more than 40 years, and it has been a privilege to be a part of it with Vic and the entire TSN team.

Thank you, Vic, for everything you have done for our sport!

Coming into yesterday's action in Sudbury, Saskatchewan's Chloe Semeniuk had skipped her squad to three straight wins to start competition at the 2026 New Holland Agriculture U-20 Canadian Championships 🥌
