I'm reaching out today to let everyone know that as of tomorrow, March 11th, I will be leaving Big Nickel Auto and moving onto a different venture. It wasn't an easy decision to make, but the one that makes the most sense for me at this time.
Jon has decided to continue on under his own business, Jon's Automotive Service, and Frank will be working with him as well.
The phone number will stay the same 705-470-3144 but the name will change effective Monday. I will continue to assist them as much as possible where warranties are concerned.

It's been seven years of ups, downs, and everything in between. Non of that would have been possible without the people who supported me along the way. I didn't imagine that I could know such success, even harder to imagine that I could walk away. But I leave feeling good about what I have accomplished; with more confidence and knowledge than I did seven years ago. And for that, Thank you.

NOTICE TO ALL CUSTOMERS:

As of July 8th 2020, no persons are permitted inside this establishment without a mask. Here’s what you can do to help:

1. Wear a mask

2. Keep your distance (2meter)

3. Call to book your appointment instead of walk in

4. Leave your keys in the car when dropping off your vehicle

5. Make arrangements for a ride (we will not be giving anyone rides)

6. Pay by Credit card over the phone (we accept VISA and Mastercard)

7. DO NOT under any circumstance enter the shop where the mechanics are working.

We understand that there are circumstances that make it impossible for certain people to wear a mask, please consider some of our no contact options if this applies to you.

We would like to welcome Vitali to our team. He comes to us with 30 years experience in automotive and truck and coach. Vitali specializes in Volkswagen and Audi and brings with him a lot of specialty tools and knowledge. He's going to be a great asset to our team.

Also note that as of June 8th, we will be operating on regular hours, Monday - Friay, 8am - 5pm.

Update:

As of May our shop will be open 3 days a week, Tuesday - Thursday. The phone is still being answered Monday-Friday.

Please call ahead at 705-470-3144 and avoid coming into the office to book an appointment. Our first priority is everyone's health.

We would like to touch base with our customers now that more changes have been implemented.

Although not open to walk ins our suppliers are still able to keep us going, see what they had to say below. They are doing their best to meet our communities needs and we greatly appreciate them for it.

We will continue to book appointments as long as we can. But limited to Tuesdays and Fridays unless the demand requires us to add more days.

Moving forward, we ask that no customers enter the office or garage. Unfortunately at this time we will also have to stop providing transportation to customers.

Please call ahead at 705-470-3144 8am-5pm monday to friday we are available by phone.

Most importantly, stay home and limit contact as much as possible. We care for our health and safety as well as that of others. As a community we can pull together and get through this difficult time.
