A New Direction — Western Truck Polishing / TruckPolishing.ca
July 14, 2026 changed my life.
That evening, I was involved in a catastrophic incident on a roadway in the Nisku area. I suffered a serious traumatic brain injury and extensive physical injuries and have no memory of what happened. Based on the information I have gathered since, I have serious unanswered questions about how I was injured, what occurred afterward, and why I remained there for approximately 2½ hours before emergency services were contacted.
Those circumstances are being dealt with through the appropriate channels, and I am continuing to work toward answers.
While I was hospitalized and then undergoing neurological rehabilitation, the businesses I had spent years helping build — Kings Custom Polish & Detail and KCPD — also effectively came apart.
The circumstances surrounding the shutdown were extremely difficult. So rather than rebuilding the past, I decided to build something different.
Introducing Western Truck Polishing and TruckPolishing.ca
For years, I have built relationships throughout Alberta's heavy-truck and oilfield industries, developed a large social-media audience, and learned a tremendous amount about commercial aluminum and stainless-steel polishing.
I'm now putting those assets, relationships and experience behind TruckPolishing.ca.
The concept is simple:
Customers need an easier way to find qualified truck polishers. Good polishers need an easier way to reach customers.
TruckPolishing.ca is being developed as a central place where truck owners, fleets, dealerships and equipment companies can:
• Request a polishing quote directly through the website
• Find polishing companies servicing their area
• Compare available polishing providers
• Connect with businesses capable of handling their particular truck or equipment
We are beginning with Edmonton, Nisku and the surrounding Alberta market, with plans to expand throughout Alberta and eventually into Saskatchewan, Manitoba and British Columbia.
For polishing businesses, this will not simply be an open classified directory.
Participating polishers will subscribe to the platform and will be reviewed and qualified before being listed. The goal is to build a network of legitimate polishing businesses that customers can actually find and contact.
Instead of competing with every polisher, I want to use the audience, industry knowledge and digital assets I've built over the years to help connect the entire industry.
My life looks very different today than it did before July 14.
But I'm still here, I'm moving forward, and I'm putting what I've learned into something new.
