I've been recovering from a shoulder procedure and desk work is not helpful, so it's been a slower process than I anticipated.

I appreciate your patience!! I'm almost there! Who would have thought this to be so time consuming?! Ha! I'm learning a LOT as I navigate this, and I am so excited to be almost across the first finish line.

Thanks for hanging in there with me. I promise it will be worth it. Once the ball is rolling, I'll be adding more and more items, so please stay tuned and follow us.

Post launch, I will be working on staying active in the social media realm!

THREE MORE DAYS!!!

On Sept 14th, we are going to be a sponsor at the Chestnut Realty 5th Annual Golf Tournament in Waterloo!
We've got a couple of Nautically Nice teams ready to hit the fairway, and I'll be at the booth greeting players and showcasing our lifestyle brand.

It's been a crazy month pulling this together, and I thought for a minute that our summer launch target would be missed.

I'm so grateful that everything has fallen into place, and so excited to announce that our official brand launch is about to happen! Stay tuned!!

In just a few days, you'll be able to see and shop the Nautically Nice lifestyle!

We had some embroidery issues, and will receive a fresh order of garments this week.

I could show some photos of what is NOT Nautically Nice, but I'd much rather show you what IS.

In the meantime, I'm deciding on additional apparel to add to the collection while I wait for my core pieces to be ready.. and I would love you input!

What do you love to wear when you're in active leisure mode?

We'll have polos, crewnecks..and I'm thinking of a softshell jacket for those cooler mornings or evenings when you need something a little more sophisticated than a hoodie!

This deck polish was a tough one!
We went through three different compounds to try to bring out a perfect finish. The oxidation was extremely heavy and deep into the gelcoat.
There was a suggestion to wet sand, however some of the gelcoat is very thin and would not endure the aggressive process.
Thankfully, we were able to restore this deck by about 90%.
In situations like this, continued maintenance, and patience, will restore the finish more and more.

We started with the bottom. Layers of built up grime and hard water stains. That orange colour is now white again.
The deck and hull will undergo a restoration, removing the heavy oxidation that makes the finish so dull. Cleaning has been done and the machine will be spinning soon! Can't wait to see the difference!

This Sea Ray had some worn down and non-existent caulking. We stripped what was there and applied a fresh bead of sealant above and below the rub rail all the way around. Wow! She looks brand new again after a polish and some fresh white lines!

Our racing client has a slick shiny hull, and is ready for launch!
Once again, the difference is amazing!
Two years ago, we did a heavy compound to restore his hull to this level of clarity and shine.
In just two years, this is how much oxidation can accumulate on a vessel if nothing is done to protect it and maintain it each season.
When the finish is restored like this, regular washing and especially pre-launch waxing or a light polish will maintain this finish.
Another one down, onto the next!
