Chassis Mount Canopies 🚚
Summit Expedition Trucks is excited to announce our new Chassis Mount Canopy option!
Designed, cut, formed, and welded right here in Alberta, Canada, we have adopted a simplistic approach to our flatbed/canopy systems, into a single, light weight, platform.
The goal? A major reduction in weight and cost. It’s a full time canopy. A majority of our customer base is light duty trucks; Tacoma, Tundra, etc. This is where the Chassis Mount Canopy shines!
A traditional flatbed and lift off canopy is certainly a fantastic tool. Two trucks in one. But if you’re finding over 95% of the time, the canopy just sits on the flatbed, the Chassis Mount Canopy could be the better option.
Over 300lbs lighter, and up to $6,000 less in overall cost. It features a slight increase in interior height, allowing for fitment of more interior options.
No better way to show case out first Chassis Mount Canopy, than on this 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro, being utilized as a Veterinary Box.
The best part? It shares the same pedigree as all of our other products and platforms. Modular, multi vehicle compatibility, blind spot and sensor relocation, and can still utilize our pull out drawer!
Excellent for contractors, mobile mechanics, veterinarians, search and rescue, wildland fire fighting, or those who simply don’t see a need to remove the canopy from a flatbed.
