A little before & after action on a 6.0L Power Stroke 👀🔧
This VGT turbo came in for service, and you can see the difference once our tech got into it.
The VGT system relies on the vanes moving freely to control boost. Over time, carbon and soot buildup can cause them to stick, which can lead to poor turbo response, inconsistent boost and drivability issues.
A proper VGT turbo service means getting in there, cleaning things up and making sure everything is moving the way it should.

Not your average day at the shop.. 👀
This immaculate #1973 Toyota Corolla rolled into our Nanaimo location this week for a CVI inspection, and it definitely turned a few heads!
It’s not every day you see a piece of automotive history in this condition. Huge respect to the owner for the level of restoration and care that went into this build. 🔧✨

vs. properly replaced & upgraded components.

The old wheel was worn and starting to show signs of damage — which means:
• Loss of power
• Slower spool
• Increased risk of failure
• Expensive engine damage if ignored
We caught it before it became a much bigger problem!

Chris Brown has been promoted to Service Manager of our Nanaimo Diesel location.

Chris started 7 years ago as Shop Support and worked his way into a Service Advisor role through consistent effort, ownership, and performance. He’s earned the trust of his team, our leadership group, and the customers he serves every day.
