Rainy weekend CNC project! 🌧️
Made this custom backlit cover plate to fill the hole where the radio used to be on the F/V Cindy Seas.
Cut from solid white acrylic with opaque yellow lettering and the Cindy Seas logo.

Some before-and-after photos of the F/V Cindy Sea electrical upgrade.

This Doucette 45 received a major overhaul to its DC electrical system, including reorganized data wiring, a refurbished electrical panel, new switch panels, and the installation of quality Blue Sea Systems and Victron Energy components. The vessel also received a new 400W solar charging system, with the Renogy solar panels to be installed later this week.

Thanks to Tyler J Anderson and Matthew MacSwain for all their hard work on this project. We'd also like to thank Ben Bruce for the opportunity to work on the Cindy Sea and for trusting Red Mud Marine with this upgrade.

Solar panel board completed for F/V Cindy Seas, she will have 400 watts of solar with the option of expanding to 800 watts with the Victron 50 amp solar controller.

This week's project, getting Ben Bruce's F/V Cindy Seas ready for tuna season, cleaning out old wires, new panels, re-routing wires, adding some fuse blocks, bus bars, and solar.
We will start putting things back together tomorrow!
