Steve recently spent some time on a friends 86 GMC. It had some overspray on the entire truck and needed a cut polish. After some experimenting with different products, Steve found a technique that worked and ran with it.

This truck came from BC, and was originally a fire truck. It went to one fire, hence the amazingly low reading odometer. (Less than 5k)
It runs and drives like new.

The deck was custom built from the owner himself, and it’s one of a kind for sure.

Steve’s IH project received some attention lately.
He lowered the truck 6” in the rear, and roughly 4.5” in the front.
The back half got some paint, and new brake lines.
While in the front, he installed 3” drop spindles along with shorter 1/2 ton springs .
The body was set on just for a quick view of the new look. It’s off again as there is more to do!

Here’s some photos of Steve’s 50 IH project just as promised. The International body now sits nicely on a shortened 1984 Chevy 1/2 ton 2wd frame and drivetrain. It’s certainly received a look of its own now. Much much more to do on this yet. Any comments? Slam it? Leave it?
