Gold Roll was founded in March 2012 after what seemed like a small incident, occurred in the Montreal car tuning scene forcing some members to part their ways with the large community they had called their home for some time. The significance of the name Gold Roll stems from one of the rare and symbolic commodities we have on the earth today: Gold. While Gold is but a color and a metal in the phys

ical sense, it is much more then that on the economical scale. The price for Gold, continues to skyrocket and will continue to do so as we are running out. Gold is a unique and rare substance and to the founders of Gold Roll, this symbolizes money and uniqueness; money, something any car tuner must wrestle with and being unique is a by product compared to the ordinary cars we are scene rolling amongst. In addition, since the price of gold is going up, the founders believe it is also proportional to the interest in car tuning. Sadly with the decline in Gold, they believe it may also mirror the potential for car tuning in the years to come, with the emphasis on green technology and fuel economy. The term Roll, is specifically based off of the term that lots of car tuners seem to be using; to drive, to commute. However, here at Gold Roll, we don't believe it is just a drive but rather an enjoyable journey and at times, a challenge that is best complimented with the addition of others from the same car tuning scene that we all enjoy; friends.
