New long term project I picked up the other day. 1988 Ford LTL-9000 with 3406B Cat engine, 13 speed transmission and Neway suspension. End goal is to get it looking something like the picture of the red truck. Hope to post updates from time to time.

This truck wouldn't go into 1st, 2nd, 3rd and reverse gears but would go into 4th and 5th. After removing the top cover of the transmission I found two broken shift forks that would cause these symptoms. These shift forks were broken because a snap ring broke inside the transmission causing internal components to shift.
