Way back Wednesday - to my blazer “uniform” 🤦🏼‍♀️ I use to wear pink every time I presented. I felt the need to show I was feminine in a male dominated industry. After many years of presenting car care clinics to women and men, I most recently feel comfortable in any colour - with my hair up, or down, or not much make up or dirty hands (from my brake and tire demo) because I am comfortable being me! I don’t mind getting dirty with grease, oil or brake dust. I don’t need to look perfect. I need to give the knowledge and understanding people are seeking when they attend one of my “shows”. I have realized I’ve received more respect by doing so. So be you!
Side Note: I do still wear my pink blazer, but only because I want to 👸
I identify myself as a proud woman in the automotive industry no matter what colour I wear. 💁🏼‍♀️ 🏎 💨 👩🏼‍🔧
