This Camaro has had electrical gremlins since it was first built.

We’ve got it in the shop now to start sorting through the wiring and figure out what’s actually going on.

There’s a fair bit to go through. We’ll be tracing circuits, fixing what needs fixing, replacing what needs replacing, and getting this whole setup cleaned up and organized properly.

Shop Tip: Bel Air Tail Harness – Part 2

Now you can see why we staggered those splices in Part 1 — once the loom is pulled over, the harness stays pretty much the same thickness all the way through.

Many classic GM headlight switches depend on the dashboard for their ground. If that ground isn't perfect, you'll often see intermittent dash lights, dome light issues, or other frustrating electrical problems.

Adding a dedicated ground is an easy upgrade that improves reliability and makes your electrical system more dependable.

It's a small detail that can save a lot of troubleshooting later.

Spent the day at Smoke, Fire & Thunder at Mission Raceway Park installing one of our Night Owl Service Light Kits in between rounds.

There's no better place to test a product than where it's actually going to be used. Tight spaces, changing weather, limited time, and no shortage of things that need attention.

The whole idea behind this kit is pretty simple: give yourself good light inside the car without dragging extension cords around or trying to balance a flashlight somewhere it doesn't belong.
