Here are the upcoming events at Oak Point Campground

August 1: Christmas in August
Start decorating your trailer on Friday. Judging of the decorated trailers will be done by the campers on Sunday August 2nd.
1st place $100
2nd place $75
3rd place $50
Santa will be at the shelter beside the pool at 2:00.
Come out and enjoy a fun filled evening of dancing and great music at our Christmas Eve dance from 09:00 pm - 12:00 pm

August 2: Fireworks and Chinese Lanterns
Weather permitting (if the weather is too bad, this will be postponed)
The firework will be "launched" at the beach once the sky is dark enough. Come on down and enjoy.
Following the fireworks will be the launching of Chinese Lanterns on the field at the Campground. Join us and send a Chinese Lantern into the sky in memories of loved ones.
Most Dollar Stores have the lanterns available

August 15: Kids Bazaar
Each child will be given 20 free tickets to play the games as they enter the game area from 1:00 - 3:00. Hot Dogs after the games at 3:00

September 5: Halloween
Dress up your little spooks and take them around the campground for their treats from 4:00 - 6:00 pm

Oak Point Campground is wishing everybody a very Merry Christmas and a great start into the new year. Stay safe and enjoy the Holidays with family and friends

Oak Point Campground will celebrate Christmas in August. The events will be between August 8-10.
Decorated bicycle parade being held on Saturday August 9, around 2 pm. treat packs for participants. Trailer decorating contest with prizes for the top three trailers. The judging will be done by the campers, with two votes per lot.
Santa Claus is expected to visit the campground during this weekend. More information about the events will follow.

We will be setting up some firework on Friday, 1st of August. This will be followed by the lighting of Chinese lanterns. We already bought 10 lanterns but it would be great if we can get more. Both events will happen at the beach area infront of the campground. {of course - weather depending}
