It was a beautiful weekend for the 2026 High School Challenge!
Ten high schools from across the province participated in the annual event hosted by Miramichi Dragway.
Here are the results:
Final winner - Stanley Consolidated School

Best Burnout - Grand Manan High School

Best Prepared- James M Hill Memorial High School
HS913 - S10 - this truck was donated to JMH by former drag racer Norm Perry who passed away Thursday. A memorial pass was made on Saturday in his honour before eliminations began.
The truck was loaned to NSER to compete after their car had issues.

Hard Work Award - Sussex Regional High School
SRHS HS 150 - the transmission blew in one of their cars, a local drag racer went home and got them a replacement, the students replaced it and got the car running in time to compete.
