Adeline Walked Away from Her Subaru
DEAR SUBARU TEAM,
When my daughter inherited her grandmother's 2019 Subaru Legacy, it already carried a bit of family history—including the dents and scratches from Grammie's fender benders. We knew it was a tough little car, but we never expected it to be put to the ultimate test. A week ago, my daughter was involved in a severe accident. The impact was violent enough to completely destroy the front end of the vehicle. In a fraction of a second, every single airbag deployed exactly as designed, shielding her from the brunt of the collision. The car was completely totaled, but the cabin structure held perfectly. Because of the way that vehicle was engineered, my daughter was able to open the door and walk away from a catastrophic wreck with nothing more than minor bruises. The Subaru took the full force of the impact so my daughter didn't have to. Thank you for prioritizing safety and building vehicles that do exactly what they are meant to do when it matters most. A MOTHER’S LOVE FOR SUBARU
Dear Subaru,
In late January 2026 I received a frantic call from my 25-year-old daughter Anya. She had literally driven through the walls of someone's living room and walked out of her new olive green Suburu Crosstrek unscathed. We truly believe and credit her Suburu for saving her life. Turns out she had suffered her first seizure and had blacked out. Anya is receiving treatment and her life has changed considerably but she is hoping that one day soon she'll be able to drive again. Her lifelong choice will always be Subaru and our family and her remain so thankful. -- Norah
