Dear Campers,
We would like to inform everyone of an important change regarding the storage and use of personal watercraft along the Bayfort Camp shoreline.
Effective immediately, any docks, lifts, mooring lines, boats, sea-doos and any other personal watercraft or related equipment may no longer be stored or left along the camp shoreline before, during or after your stay.
This decision has not been made lightly and we apologize for any inconvenience this causes. It is necessary due to several ongoing concerns, including:
• Increased insurance liability for the campground
• Safety hazards for campers, staff, and visitors using the waterfront
• Ongoing complaints regarding congestion, appearance and access to the shoreline
We understand this may be an inconvenience for some campers; however, our responsibility is to maintain a safe, accessible, and enjoyable waterfront for everyone while ensuring we meet our insurance and operational obligations.
We ask that all existing docks, lifts, mooring lines, boats, sea-doos, and any other personal watercraft and equipment be removed from the shoreline before Sunday, August 23, 2026. Any items remaining after this date will be subject to removal at the owner’s risk and expense.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep Bayfort Camp a safe and enjoyable place for all.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the camp office and we thank you for your cooperation.
