Here's your reminder that this place opens up for the season on Sunday, June 14th at 1pm for a season of stock car racing!

If you've been to Lake Doucette Motor Speedway, outside of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, you know of the great racing that one of the most unique paved ovals in North America can provide. This drone photo from Wade Horte doesn't do the elevation change justice from Turn Four up to Turn One and downhill from Turn Two to Turn Three.

Not to mention, the community is passionate and the hospitality is second to none you'll find on the motorsports circuit!

We'll be there to see the Southwest Stock Car Association and the Heart of a Champion Hot Rod Classics powered by Kimco open up their 2026 season next Sunday - will you?!

We’re a busy automotive repair shop that works on everyday vehicles and race cars, and we’re looking for an apprentice or mechanic’s helper to join our team.

If you have a strong interest in automotive repair and motorsports, this is a great opportunity to learn both sides of the industry.

What we’re looking for:

Passion for cars (street & race)
Willingness to learn and take direction
Reliable with a good work ethic
Fabrication and welding experience are a strong asset

You’ll gain hands-on experience in general mechanical work along with performance and race car projects.
