We're Hiring: Apprentice or Journeyman Mechanic
Location: Lunenburg, NS
Company: Lunenburg Auto Service Center

We’re looking for a Level 3 or 4 Apprentice or Red Seal Technician to join our growing team at Lunenburg Auto. If you’re passionate about automotive systems, have a strong attention to detail, and take pride in your work, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:
- Diagnose customer concerns and identify needed parts
- Work with the service manager to organize repairs
- Perform maintenance and repairs on all makes/models (oil changes, brakes, exhaust, etc.)
- Use diagnostic tools (scanners, Mitchell OnDemand) to recommend accurate repairs
- Weld and assemble components as needed
- Test drive vehicles to verify repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace

What We’re Looking For:
- Clean driving record
- Registered Apprentice (3rd or 4th year preferred) or Red Seal Journeyman
- Able to lift and carry heavy items
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced shop
- Accurately track parts used and vehicle service information

Responsibilities:
-Perform maintenance and repair on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, tire changes, fluid checks, and battery replacements.
-Identify problems with vehicles using diagnostic equipment and make effective and accurate recommendations for repair.
-Explain automotive repairs and issues to customers.
-Repair or replace components such as brakes, suspension, wheel bearings, and engine parts.
-Weld and assemble components as needed.
-Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training.
-Help maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:
-Automotive service/repair experience or training (1+ year).
-NSCC graduate or registered apprentice/journeyman.
