Schooner Moonbeam that was built by our friends Covey Island Boatworks and is currently flagged out of Cayman Islands has returned to Nova Scotia for some refit and repair.

The skilled trades in Lunenburg Michael Moreland and Old Town Boatworks are completing some work on her. We love having beautiful vessels like this hauled out at our yard!

The yard has been busy these past few months repairing transient sailboats and working on the local fishing fleet.

We really appreciate the support and trust we receive from these local fisherman and women. We have been repairing rudders and running gear, completing fiberglass repairs and paint work, and replacing cooling pipes and cutlass bearings.

As we move into fall these boats will be back in the water preparing for lobster season and we will be hauling and winterizing pleasure crafts for winter storage!
