A little sneak peak at a long project. I was able to obtain the original stamped wedge pan tooling and rework it slightly to reproduce the lightest powerglide oil pan ever made. This pan comes in at 3lbs total. Features include orb weld bungs for drain plugs, external solenoid returns for dump valves, between round pit coolers as well one npt port for 1/8" temp sensor probes. We are working on assembling complete pan kits which will include all necessary hardware, relocated wedge style filter adapters for conventional powerglide filter systems only. If you have a vb that uses an oddball filter setup, the pan can be purchased alone. Zero degree drive angle cars can have a smooth bottom with this wedge design, no more dragging the front edge of a cast pan on the trailer while loading. 😁
