This is why the part you choose matters. 🔧

A timing chain purchased online failed and unfortunately resulted in major engine damage——costing the customer around $8,000 for a replacement engine.

When we tried to contact the company that supplied the part, we were unable to get a hold of them.

At The Kar Doctor, WE DO NOT INSTALL CUSTOMER SUPPLIED PARTS. We source parts through our trusted suppliers so we can stand behind the quality of the parts we install and have support if something goes wrong.

Sometimes saving a little on a part can end up costing a lot more. 💸 When it comes to critical engine components, know what you’re buying and who you’re buying it from.

Trailer Safety Check: What We Look For

Before you hit the road with your trailer, it’s a good idea to give it a proper once-over. Tires, brakes, lights, bearings, hitch, safety chains and other components all play a part in keeping you safe while towing.

Not sure if your trailer is ready to go? Bring it to The Kar Doctor and we’ll give it a safety check. Better to find an issue in the shop than on the side of the road. 👍
