We consider ourselves Professional Car Show Attendees. Want to claim the title? Here are our top 5

Do's and Don'ts:

✅ DO'S
Car shows are for everyone! Kids, grandparents, and even the dog are welcome at most events, so make it a group outing! Just keep an eye on little ones, strollers, bikes, and curious pups around the vehicles, everyone’s there to enjoy them, and keep them looking their best.

Pick your timing: Arrive early for smaller crowds and great photo light. Arrive a little later if you want the vendors fired up and the grills going.

Wander every row. Some of the coolest cars are tucked in corners and side lots. Take your time and leave no corner unsearched.

And of course — don't forget the sunscreen!

❌ DON'TS
The Car Show Golden Rule: Don't touch the cars without permission. Even leaning on a car can scratch a paint job the owner spent months perfecting. Look with your eyes!

Don't feel like you need to be a "car person". You don't need to know a thing about engines to have a great time. The colours, designs, and stories are entertaining for everyone.

Don't forget cash. Food trucks and vendors are common at car shows. Toss a few bills in your pocket before you head out.

Don't leave before the cars drive out. When owners start firing up their engines to leave, the sights and sounds are incredible. It's often the best part of the whole day!

Check your tire pressure once a month and before long trips. Tires can lose air over time even without visible damage. Proper pressure improves safety, fuel economy, and tire life, especially with spring temperature changes. Find your recommended PSI on the sticker inside the driver’s door or in your owner’s manual.

Collision repair isn’t just about fixing dents. It’s a step-by-step process to keep your car safe and looking great. First, we assess your vehicle for visible and hidden damage. Next, we disassemble it to create a complete repair plan and assist with insurance if needed. Our technicians then handle bodywork and paint, ensuring dents are repaired and the color perfectly matched. After that, every part is carefully reassembled and checked. Finally, we conduct a thorough inspection so your car drives safely and looks flawless!

Today, on National Child and Youth Mental Health Day, we’re reminded how important it is that young people have safe places to be heard, supported, and cared for.

We’re proud to support the important work being done by Child and Youth Advocacy Centre of Kelowna. Their team works every day to ensure children and youth in our community have access to compassionate support when they need it most.

Mental health matters at every age, and together we can continue building a community where young people feel safe, valued, and supported.

Did you know that sometimes, once a vehicle is apart, additional damage can be discovered? That’s when a “supplement” is sent to your insurance company.

It’s a normal, necessary step (not a sign of poor work) to make sure your car is returned to pre-accident safety standards. Safety first, always!
