This Silverado came in with a persistent engine tick and transmission shudder. After a thorough inspection, we tore into the top end of the engine and eliminated the factory AFM system using our BTR DOD/AFM Delete Kit, complete with upgraded camshaft and lifter setup.

While the engine was out, it made sense to address another common weak point. The factory 8L90E torque converter was removed and replaced with an upgraded billet unit from Circle D for improved reliability and performance.

With everything reassembled, calibrated, and tuned, this truck is back on the road running stronger, smoother, and more reliable than ever.

If you own a newer Chevy or GMC truck or SUV and are considering an AFM/DOD delete, get in touch. We offer a variety of packages tailored to your vehicle, driving style, and performance goals.

We were pretty honored to be asked to borrow both a hotrod and our mural for some grad pictures. Pretty cool we can be a part of their celebration and special day. Congratulations to all the ‘26 grads!

The Colorado we built a few years back came in for a few upgrades and adjustments. Most of the work focused on improving cooling and airflow for the rear-mounted turbo setup.

A new PWM electric fan and charge tube should help keep temperatures under control, while a custom dual-filter intake setup tucked neatly into the box gives the turbo a lot more air without changing the clean look of the truck.

Border runs are always fun, like getting weekly Christmas presents! This week was extra special with delivery of three Thompson Motorsports engines: two 427ci builds and one 383ci Gen IV LS.

Nothing quite like unboxing three beautiful new engines, each with a specific purpose and range from 600hp to 2200hp capabilities. The quality from Thompson is second to none and they look badass!

Just over two weeks until the Cars and Cards Poker Run!

Hopefully you’ve got a hot rod ready to cruise the city, hit some checkpoints, and enjoy a great night with fellow car enthusiasts. After the run, we’ll head back to Clarke’s Tire for prizes, a late-night BBQ, and a car meet under the stars.

Last year was an incredible turnout, with lots of money raised and given back to charity. Let’s make this year even bigger!

Reminder: the meeting spot is the same as last year @ Parallel Church on Highway #3, just 2 minutes east of Lethbridge.

We’ll start taking buy-ins from 4:45 PM to 6:00 PM before sending everyone out on the Poker Run. Pre-registration is available now at Clarke’s Tire or RPM.

The run should take about 1.5–2 hours.

Hope to see you all out there for another great night of Hot Rod fun!

We LS-swapped this ‘55 Bel Air about 15 years ago, and a lot has changed since then—both in the parts available and in how much we’ve refined our craft.

This latest round of upgrades centered around the rear differential. The original 8.2” rear end was removed and replaced with a Quick Performance 9” paired with a RideTech 4-link setup. We also upgraded the brakes with larger Wilwood components front and rear.

Because the entire rear suspension geometry changed, the existing exhaust system no longer fit. We built a completely new custom 3” stainless steel exhaust system around the updated setup, finished with Borla mufflers.

The fuel system also received a major overhaul. These cars originally came with a spare tire tub in the trunk, which forces aftermarket fuel tanks to sit offset. We removed the tub, allowing us to replace the old 16-gallon offset tank with a much larger 29-gallon tank. At the same time, all of the old rubber fuel lines were removed and replaced with our PTFE fuel system setup.

Under the hood, we added a few refinements as well, including body-color engine covers and a newly fabricated intake tube.

Shortly after the upgrades were completed, the car made a round trip to the annual Great Falls car show—and performed flawlessly the entire way.

Finished up this super clean Silverado. We put long tubes on and tuned this truck 12 years ago and it recently came back for some upgrades. We added a BTR Red Hot Camshaft and Circle D converter. We ended up making 99hp more at the wheels! This 6.2L is a ton more fun to drive and sounds killer! Let us know if we can put a package together for you.

This Challenger came in with some issues to fix and for some upgrades as well. The supercharger was a decent upgrade but the camshaft that was installed just wasn’t a great fit. So we pulled the motor and installed a BTR Stage 3 Hemi Camshaft, new lifters and valve springs. We put a performance built NAG1 auto transmission and Circle D converter, added Stainless Works long tube headers and a DSS Aluminum Driveshaft. We went to DeastchWerks for a drop in high flow pump module and injectors. Now all tuned up we’re making 571whp and 558wtq. This Mopar now sits there and chops away as well as will spin the tires for days. It’s now back to the owner and getting some miles put on.

Did a few updates to this C10 we built last year. The truck 6.2L long block was updated with a new Crate LS3 and a bit better breather system thanks to a Motion Raceworks catchcan. This supercharged LS3 put 575hp to the tires. Instant smoke clouds!!!
