🏒💙 Season Ends in a Hard-Fought Battle 💙🏒

The Leader Flyers season came to an end tonight with a heartbreaking overtime loss to the Shaunavon Badgers.

The Flyers made Shaunavon work for every inch of that win. From start to finish it was a battle, and the boys left everything they had on the ice. Taking it to overtime in a do-or-die game says a lot about the heart and determination of this team.

While it’s not the ending we were hoping for, it was an incredible season. Thank you to the players, coaches, volunteers, and the fans who packed the rink and supported the Flyers all year long. Small-town hockey is something special, and this team gave us a lot to cheer about.

Hold your heads high, Flyers. ✈️

The Leader Flyers take the series in three straight games over the Eatonia Huskies and punch their ticket to the next round!

What a battle between two great teams, but the Flyers came ready to work and finished it in style. Huge effort up and down the lineup and some solid goaltending when it mattered most.
