Dry sump system assure constant oil pressure under hard acceleration or G’s where the factory oiling system would normally fail. By adding an external reservoir and pump, you can not only double the oil capacity but also prevent the oiling system to suck air which can be fatal on the bearings. In addition, scavenging the oil from the engine will help free up some horsepower.
