Auto Body and Collision Technicians repair damaged vehicles and help get them safely back on the road. This Red Seal trade is ideal for hands-on, analytical problem-solvers who enjoy automotive technology, detailed work, and the challenge of tackling something different every day.

🛠️ 6,450 hours of work-based training
📚 25 weeks over 4 years of in-school technical training

Eligible apprentices may qualify for financial support during classroom training through WorkBC Apprentice Services, including help with commuting, living away from home, dependent care, and more.

Automotive Collision Repair Technician Wanted

Full-time, start as soon as possible.
Wage: Negotiable depending on experience. (Flat Rate)

Little Valley Collision and Glass, located in Ladysmith on Vancouver Island, is looking for an Automotive Collision Repair Technician who has experience in the industry, has their own tools, and is a motivated/enthusiastic individual.

We offer a benefits package, I-CAR training, a clean bright shop, high end equipment to work with and advancement opportunities.

Duties:
º Pull and repair vehicles back to OEM specifications
º Weld various types of metal including aluminum
º Repair damage to body panels and parts made of a variety of materials
º Proficient at all removal and installation of interior and exterior components
º Inspect vehicles for dimensional accuracy and test drive them to ensure proper alignment and handling

Required Qualifications:
º Red Seal certified Automotive Collision Repair Technician
º Must possess a valid Driver’s Licence
º Experience with aluminum repair and welding
º Will consider applicants in the process of completing their apprenticeship
º I-Car training not mandatory, but beneficial.
